Request a Pilot
Test CryogenX4 on a few of your own units before you decide anything larger. A pilot measures their performance before and after treatment against an agreed baseline, so the result rests on your equipment, your loads and your weather.
Request a pilot
What happens after you send the form
- A short call (within one business day). We ask about the equipment, its age and refrigerant, how it is metered, and what you need the result to show.
- Unit selection and a written measurement plan. One to three representative units, the metrics (kW, kWh, tons, kW per ton), how results are normalized for weather and load, and what counts as no effect, all agreed before anything is installed. See how a pilot works.
- Baseline monitoring. Loggers record the units running normally, usually for several weeks.
- Installation. Trained, certified technicians inject the treatment while the system runs. CryogenX4 reports most installs take one day, with no modifications to the system.
- Post-treatment monitoring and a report. The same measurements over comparable conditions, then a report with the raw data, the model and the savings with their uncertainty. See what a pilot report should contain.
Useful to have ready
- Equipment list for the pilot units: make, model, tonnage, refrigerant, age.
- Recent maintenance records, especially coil cleaning, refrigerant charge and any repairs.
- Twelve months of utility bills, or interval data if you have it.
- Who needs to approve the pilot and what they will want to see. Our guide for owners and CFOs covers the usual questions.
Results vary by equipment condition. A system with little oil fouling has little to recover, which is why we measure instead of promising a number. Not ready yet? Estimate your savings or run the 25-point self-check first.
Pilot questions
How many units does a pilot include?
Usually one to three units that represent the equipment you would treat later. Where possible, a similar untreated unit is monitored alongside them for comparison.
Will the equipment be shut down?
No. CryogenX4 reports that the treatment is installed while the system runs, usually in one day, with no modifications to the system.
How long does a pilot take?
It depends on the equipment and the weather. Baseline and post-treatment monitoring each need to cover a comparable range of loads and outdoor conditions, which usually means several weeks each.
What does a pilot cost?
Pricing depends on the equipment, its size and the measurement needed. Send the form and we will propose a scope and a price for your units.
What if the pilot shows no measurable effect?
Then you have a clear answer for those units, at the cost of a small test instead of a full rollout. The measurement plan should state in advance what result counts as no effect.
